The original physical product Invent Boston has designed for families is the new light-up Two Minute Turtle Timer, an analog, interval toothbrush timer to make brushing teeth fun for kids. Kids like to press the button, follow the flippers and brush until all the lights blink—the Victory Lap signals to brush the tongue.

How are your teeth feeling these days? A piece of good news for us “non-essential” workers is we have more time to take care of our daily healthy habits, like toothbrushing. And that’s all the more important when we may not have visited the dentist as often as we used to.

How are you feeling? Not to get personal but are you taking 2 minutes to brush your teeth? You know this already but it bears repeating. Oral health is important to helping keep our immune system strong. And you may also know, a brushing teeth is one part of oral health, and keeping our immune system jhealthy—keeping bad bacteria from growing in the mouth.

I still like that clean feeling we get after having our teeth cleaned by a dentist and then to hear those precious words… “no cavities”. What a relief! I went to the dentist recently and heard those sweet words again, “No cavities!”. Thanks to my Two Minute Turtle Timer I use every time I brush my teeth I feel confident waiting a year til my next dentist appointment.
